LINKY DOCS

Saved scans

Keep selected snapshots separately from recent history, manage the collection and back it up.

Save a report#

With paid access, open a completed report and select Save scan. Open Saved scans in the dashboard to confirm it appears in the separate collection. This keeps the report beyond recent-history rotation.

Saving retains observed results. It does not schedule checks or update the site. Use saved reports for a pre-release baseline, a verified result or an investigation you need to resume.

  1. Open the completed report.
  2. Select Save scan.
  3. Open Saved scans from dashboard navigation.
  4. Confirm its site and date.
  5. Export a backup if it must survive loss of browser data.

Remove a saved scan#

Use Remove saved scan on the saved report or library action. It removes the separately saved record; it does not repair the site or run a new scan.

An independent entry may remain in recent history until it rolls out. Do not rely on that rotating entry as permanent recovery for a removed saved report.

Storage#

Saved scans belong to the browser profile that stored them. Installing Linky elsewhere does not copy the collection; buying a plan does not enable automatic cloud synchronization.

Clearing extension data or resetting Linky can remove saved reports. An HTML or spreadsheet report preserves readable findings but is not a restorable Linky backup.

Backup#

Export data in Settings preserves history, saved reports and preferences. Import data accepts that backup format and merges supported scans by ID; matching IDs can be updated.

If the combined saved collection would exceed 50 reports, the import is rejected rather than silently dropping saved scans. Back up the existing collection and reduce it deliberately before trying again. Backups do not contain the license key.
